We are seeking a Director of Clinical Affairs to join our senior
management team.
This position will be based in our corporate office in Crawley- UK,
Atlanta- GA or Sunnyvale- CA and will require frequent travel based on
the needs of the business.
SUMMARY
The Director of Clinical Affairs will have overall responsibility for
re-aligning the clinical direction of the organization with emerging
trends worldwide. In addition, the Director will be responsible for
development of a transformational program unprecedented in our Industry
and Profession.
The selected candidate will:
- Work closely with Director of Medical Affairs and Director Scientific
Research to align vision with corporate objectives
- Define specific Elekta requirements for clinical activities focused on
emerging trends
- Develop comprehensive program to incorporate support for clinical
activities into framework of Elekta software, registry and technology
device products
- Work with corporate Research, Engineering, Business Development,
Marketing and Sales to understand and fulfill clinical and business
requirements as they relate to emerging trends
- Establish corporate clinical educational program
- Assure necessary components are incorporated into product roadmaps
- Develop, coordinate and implement roadmap for clinical product
development and release
- Communicate program vision with others inside and outside Elekta
QUALIFICATIONS
- M.D., D.O., or equivalent degree; Board certified or eligible in either
Medical or Radiation Oncology
- Knowledge and experience using Oncology Electronic Medical Record
System, preferably MOSAIQ
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to speak, read and write the English language
- Excellent communication skills (public speaking, writing)
- Ability to work cohesively with a global team of professionals
- Clinical trial experience
- Ability to travel internationally based on the needs of the business
